Not everything a photographer shoots has to be for profit. Sometimes, putting money into the equation can take some of the fun out of the process (I know, that’s easy to say when you still have a full-time job that isn’t photography).
But this weekend was all about shooting for fun and family. We had a big reunion. We had a lot of good food. And I got to use my passion for historic purposes as well.
Family photos will be here long after most of us are gone, and I can only hope that in the year 2050 someone will download my photos and say, “Uncle Terry’s photos are awesome. They’re like a window into the past.”
That would be pretty cool.
