I was complaining to family recently about the lack of photogenic quality of a potential model when one of my nieces said, “But isn’t it part of YOUR job to find a way to make her pretty? I’m sometimes amazed at how not-so-pretty girls can be in really pretty photos when the photographer uses the light and finds the right angle.”
I stopped complaining. She was right. It IS my job, and accepting that is part of what separates photgraphers from GWCs. Lesson learned.
